Check to see if your aerator screen is plugged at the end of the spout. Unscrew it and blow it out, screw it back on.
Moen is a very highly respected kitchen faucet creator. The company has been in business a long time and makes luxury faucets for the kitchen which are very desired by buyers.
Many faucets have a screened aerator to add air bubbles. Check your faucet to see if there is a screw-on fitting. The air makes the water taste better.
There was air in the line. When you turn off the water with the faucet running make sure you turn it back on with the faucet open. That will release any air caught in the lines. That faucet shut with one on a lower floor on and restoring water does not work. Fast and easy. 1. turn on affected faucet 2. shut off water 3. turn water back on 4. faucet should be running smoothly now
It sounds like there is air and/or dirt in the lines, I suggest calling a plumber.
Minerials in the water.

A tub faucet acts as a shower and can be used to bath in the bath tub. It is a pressure valve which makes the flow of water through it constant and gives a nice shower.
Assuming you are talking about a RO/DI unit because this is in the saltwater aquariums categories, It happens a lot with pipes. The RO/DI unit does not have steady flow, therefore the pressure is constantly either decreasing or increasing. When that happens the pipes will shake. The knock you hear is the pipe hitting against something either under the kitchen or in the cabinet.
