Such cattle must be slaughtered in order to obtain such a product, unlike with dairy …cattle which must be alive in order to produce milk. Breeds of beef cattle include (but are not limited to) Angus, Hereford, Shorthorn, Charolais, Devon, Galloway, Simmental, Brahma, and others.
Cattle domestication took place in areas located around the Mediterranean Sea because that is where farming first began. It was also easier to get them to a port to be loa…ded on a ship for trade purposes.

Cattle are a mammalian species of herbivorous animals with cloven hooves that have a four-chambered stomach. The word "cattle" is a term that refers to more than one bovine or…, colloquially speaking, cow. Cattle are domesticated creatures descended from the truly wild Aurochs and have been selectively bred and used by man for meat, milk and draft work since the New Stone Age.
It is not really known when the term "cattle" was started to be used as a reference to domestic bovines. In the old days, the word "cattle" was not in reference to bovines at …all, but rather an Old French term, "catel" (derived from the Latin word "caput") for moveable personal property such as livestock of any kind. The word is closely related to "chattel," which means a unit of personal property, and "capital," in an economic sense. The term replaced the earler Old English "feoh" which means "cattle, property." In older English sources such as from the King James Version of the Bible, "cattle" refers to livestock, as opposed to "deer" which refers to wildlife. "Wild cattle" may refer to feral cattle or undomesticated species of the genus Bos, such as the wild Aurochs or Celtic Longhorns. Today, cattle is a term (a plural noun, to be precise) that refers to a collection of domestic bovines, regardless of age, sex, breed or any other reference.
There are many locations that might provide vegetation for domesticated animals such as cattle and pigs in China. These locations include hilly grassy areas.
Texas Longhorns were the foundation of the Cattle Kingdom in the USA. Herefords soon followed popularity when they were imported to the USA a couple hundred years after the Sp…anish brought over their cattle.
Historically, as in the late 1800's, there would be at least a few hundred to a few thousand cattle from several ranches in an area that would be driven a cattle drive to …the stockyards in order to be sold.
Its probably because there are many trading routes located there.
Ranches were (and are) located pretty well all over most of the United States and Canada, but are primarily located on the Western area of the USA and Canada, from Manitoba/So…uth Dakota all the way down to Texas, and all the way to nearly the west coast.
