The battery port is right under the back of the bolt slide. Unfortunately, it takes 6 D batteries.

The vulcan takes 6 D batteries. It sounds like a ripoff, but it lasts REALLY long, and for the vulcan? TOTALLY worth it.Trust me.

At the bottom of the gun there a some 2 screws holding a sliding piece of plastic which loads 6 D batteries.
i think it was the Nerf vulcan but im not sure Nerf Vulcan EBF-25 to be exact.
You have to find a way to route much stroger batteries like multiple RC car batteries, although it is ill advised. you can melt your gun.
