I didn't see many styles I liked when going into Home Depot or Lowes, so I find that online retailers seem to be the best and fasted way to a better selection. One website I found modernfanoutlet seems to have a really good selection. I also found another website, modernfan that had some nice ones, but they seem to be a manufacturer and do not sell directly to the public. As for if one needs installation it isn't hard to find. Any liscensed electriciain can tackle the task of installing a ceiling fan. As a matter of fact it's so easy most anyone even half way handy can do it on their own.
