There are two kinds of dogtags available: one for pets, and one for humans. For the traditional pet dog tag, you can go to your local pet store, or to online petshops like Petsmart.com or Petco.com. For human dogtags, your best bet is SoldierCity.com. They carry an assortment of dogtags, including custom dogtags. I just bought a pair a few weeks ago -- they are authentic military dog tags, personalized with your information. I am posting a link to the SoldierCity dogtags page.
A great place to get a custom dog tag is at your local Army Navy store. You can also find several dog tag choices at mydogtag.com and gidogtags.com . One thing you want to make sure is that the tags and chain are regulation size and material. This is especially important since the U.S. market has been challenged with imports.

∙ 7y agoYou normally get the Rabies vaccination from your Veterinarian and then they will issue you the paperwork and the license right there. You can also go to the clinics that are put on to save people some money on their vaccinations, all vaccinations. They will also issue you the necessary paperwork and licenses. Don't forget about your DHLP/Parvo vaccinations too, very important for the health of your dog. Check with your Veterinarian.
