The valve for adding freon/refrigerant is located on the left/passenger side if you are looking at the engine. It is a small tube with a cap on it almost underneath the windshield panel and set a little bit down. In order to add the freon/refrigerant (134A) you need the proper hose with a gauge. These are sold at any major auto parts store. I install my own freon/refrigerant. You simply connect the screw down part of the hose to the can, then the pull/release attachment to the intake valve. Then you screw down the "needle" and then unscrew to release the freon. The engine needs to be running when you do this and the AC on high. Place the can of freon/refrigerant upright and wait a few minutes and shake the can. Repeat until the can is no longer cold and then remove the hose from the intake valve and then unscrew the can holding it away from you because there could still be some pressure. I am not a mechanic, but I have done this numerous times. More than likely a reputable auto parts store can also give you direction.
