You should never have to pay a publisher out of pocket. They should get percentages of the money you make off of selling your books. Normally up to 25% of what you make. Hope this helped

Is it easy to get your books published?

There are essentially two ways to get your books published. If you are willing to pay a printer, you can publish them yourself. All it takes is money. If you would like to sell your book to a publisher, then you have to write a book that is good enough for a publisher to want to buy it, and you also have to find the right publisher.
