You can sell anything on ebay.

But first you have to know if they're actually worth anything to a collector. Even though the copper in the coins is worth more than a penny, it's illegal to melt them down and in any case you'd have to collect an immense number of them for the metal-price difference to cover what you'd have to pay to have them melted.

It would be much easier and more profitable to go through them and determine if any of them have numismatic (ie. collector) value rather than scrap value. Check a values site such as the ones listed below.

Unless it's in superb condition I'm afraid that most dealers won't be interested in it. Almost 1.5 billion cents were made in 1945, and they still turn up in change very occasionally. If you have one that has little or no wear you might get 15 or 20 cents for it IF the dealer is feeling generous.

1957 Wheat Cents are very common yet today and do not have a very great value. To sell one I would suggest you take it to a coin dealer or perhaps a collector.

depends on how much you want for it. any coin dealer will buy it if its in decent shape. You could probably sell it on e-bay and make more money.

Post-WWII wheat pennies aren't worth much. You could bring them to a coin shop, but you'll only get 2-3 cents each.
