Anne Frank and her family (Otto Frank [dad], Edith Frank-Hollander [mom], Margot Frank [older sister]) moved into the secret annex in Amsterdam, Holland on 6 July 1942. The secret annex was a secret room behind a bookcase in the attic of Otto Frank company building. They moved in weeks before they had planed when Margot Frank got a call-up from the Central Office for Jewish Emigration ordering her to report for relocation to a work camp. They were joined by the van Pels family a week later on 13 July 1942 and later in November by Fritz Pfeffer. After 2 years and one month of living there, the secret annex was stormed by a German police on 4 August 1944 following the tip of a unknown informer. They were giving about 10 minutes to pack their things before being taking away. Otto Frank was the only Survivor.
