He then tries to take this back but Monica heard.Later on in Season 5 in The One Where Everybody Finds OutChandler again tells Monica he loves her for the first time - Phoebe and Rachel know about Chandler and Monica and Phoebe hits on Chandler to get him to admit it, meanwhile Chandler is hitting on Phoebe to put her off the scent. During this climax of this episode Chandler says that he can't go through with kissing Phoebe and when asked why he he states "because I'm in love with Monica". Monica is touched because this is (supposedly) the first time he has admitted it. She reciprocates in this episode for the first time.

There were many times Chandler and Monica made out because they started a relationship and got married in Friends.
