President Benjamin Harrison, the 23rd president of the United States. His great grandfather, also named Benjamin Harrison, signed the Declaration of Independence. Another interesting fact is that President William Henry Harrison, the 8th president, was the son of Benjamin Harrison, the signer of the Declaration and grandfather of President Benjamin Harrison. William Henry Harrison served for only 32 days before dying of pneumonia, which he contracted during his inauguration speech.

During the election in 1840, the Democrats laughed at Harrison because they thought he was too old at the age of 67 to be running for president. The Whig party used his to their advantage and declared that Harrison was the log cabin and hard cider candidate. President Harrison also used the slogan "Tippecanoe and Tyler too."
