She married Robert Palmer in late 1979 at age nineteen, and the pair remained married until 1999, when Susan requested a divorce from her husband. She felt that they had drifted apart and that she would be happier not married to him. The marriage yielded two children. Susan is now a successful artist who resides in Sedona, Arizona, where she owns her own art gallery.

No, neither of those things are true. The Web Site you are referring to is not a good source of information on Robert Palmer. It is not supported by Robert Palmer's family or close friends. One of the reasons is that the information supplied is not correct. I think you were looking at a questionnarie posted on the Web Site allegedly filled out by Robert Palmer for Sixteen magazine. According to his daughter, Anna, that is not his handwriting. Robert Palmer could not have possibly filled it out bacause of the glaring errors contained in it. It has Robert Palmer listing his fathers name as Charles. His fathers name was Leslie. It has him listing his mother's name as Anne and that she is 50 in 1987. Robert Palmer was thirty-eight years old in 1987, and his mother did not have him when she was twelve years old. Also, her name is Anna. She in fact had her son when she was eighteen years old. The same questionnaire has him stating that he has two children when by 1987 he had five children. There are other errors on the site, including the Video section where a 1995 video of Addicted to Love is uploaded taken from a French T.V. show. It lists Mary Ambrose as the female back-up singer when the back-up singer on that show was Diana Wheeler. Also, the keyboard player and drummer's names are wrong. As for Robert Palmer not driving, that is not correct. Robert Palmer got his first driver's lisence when he was fifteen years old, and like a lot of men, he enjoyed classic and luxury cars. He mentioned in an interview that his favorite cars were Buggoti and Ferrari, both of which he owned. He also mentioned that in 1974 he bought his first classic car, which was a cherry 57 T-Bird, which he named Gina in honor of the actress Gina Lollabrigida, who he had a crush on at the time. Robert Palmer could drive anywhere, anytime, and in any country. He even once mentioned a driving tour of the Alps he took when he was seventeen.
