Beyond the above, we can only speculate. Many religious people believe suicide is a really bad sin and can send someone's soul to an eternal place of suffering. Others say that if a person has accepted Christ into their heart or otherwise made a deal with a deity, that they will go to a place of eternal rest or reward. Then there are people who don't believe in souls and the like at all and say there is no scientific evidence of such and that regardless of how you die or why, you end up in the same place, and that is in the ground or cremated.
