Anywhere, really. There are city vets that live in the city and do practice on just dogs and cats, and there are rural vets that live out in the country in areas where a large-animal vet is needed to doctor animals like horses, cattle, sheep, pigs, etc.
The first place would be a vets office or if you are really adventuresome maybe your local zoo might have some kind of volunteer program for that specialty. A vet hospital would be another place to consider. Good luck.
maxckenzie is a wicked place to work for becoming a vet
I'm not sure but I guess it depends where you live, what vet you take it to etc.
you should ask the vet.
depends on what state/ country you live in...better talk to you vet
The advantages of being a vet are that you get to work with animals and help pet owners. The disadvantage is that you might not have enough business to live comfortably.
take it to the vet!! even if you don't have money, tell the vet your guinea pig is sick and you cannot afford to care for it. Because the vet is a HUMAN BEING he will take care of it and not abandone him, in a forest.
Depends what state you live in. I live in NY USA and I have a guinea pig (just got it) and I haven't taken it to a vet yet but my friend told me probably around 30-100$
No, there are many places around the world. The chooses are endless.
I would try the NYU to find pre vet classes however you will have to leave Manhattan to finish the program.
They can live for years, as do people. As for, "What can you do?", Google it for signs, symptoms, and treatment (there are several available). This is a question for you to discuss with your Vet.
You really must take it to the vet. Wrap it's feet GENTLY with paper towel or tissues if you can, and bring it to the vet to see what they can do!
This will depend on the local and state laws where you live as well as the type of liability insurance the vet clinic has. Your best source of information would be to ask the veterinarian you want to work for.
