I don't think Ralph uses any weapons in Lord of the Flies. Jack uses weapons though. Jack and the other boys create spears from wood in the jungle. he has a pocket knife on him when the plane crashes on the island so he also has that with him through out the novel.
Ralph finds his weapons on the deserted island in "Lord of the Flies." They consist of a large stick that he uses as a spear, as well as makeshift weapons like rocks and sharpened sticks.

Ralph finds a large stick that he uses as his weapon throughout the novel "Lord of the Flies." He doesn't seek out traditional weapons but rather makes use of natural resources like the stick to defend himself.
Ralph finds and takes the stick on which the pig's head had been mounted, as an offering to the beast. It is only later, when he uses it as a spear to jab one of the hunting boys, than Ralph realises that the stick has a point at each end. He then knows what Jack's intentions for him are (to mount his own head as an offering to the beast).
