Ponyboy is the name of a character in the novel The Outsiders by S. E. Hinton.
True but the question was about Pony Boy Gawani, the horse trainer, who lives on a farm outside of Boone, NC. He has written many books on bonding with rather then "breaking" horses. He has been on Larry King, etc... As to how much is hype and self-promotion, I can't judge that fine line. I don't know him, but have known his wife for 30 years, and she would not put up with anyone at all fake. Pony has a web site, and is on Face Book as Gawani Ponyboy.
