The moon does not "go" anywhere during daylight. Sometimes the moon is visible during the night time hours, sometimes during daytime, and sometimes during parts of both day and night. the other side of the earth usually

the moon is still there, you just can't see it in the day because we are facing the sun and the moon would then be on the other side of the Earth.

Usually the moon continues its rhythm, and you can sometimes see it during the day. Often, you don't see it because the sun is not reflecting off of it.
