In the small intestine, the food is digested for the last time in the digestive system. Bile, pancreatic juice and intestinal juice are let into the small intestine when the food enters the small intestine. The bile acid is the greenish liquid that that breaks down the large fat molecule into small fat molecule. The intestinal and pancreatic juice contain protease, carbohydrase and lipase. The pancreatic juice is made in the pancreas and it flows into the small intestine while the intestinal juice is made in the small intestine itself. The protease break down the polypeptide into amino acids, carbohydrase break down maltose into glucose and the lipase will break down the small fat molecule into glycerol and fatty acid. the walls of the small intestine have many blood vessels. Only the simple molecules such as amino acids, glucose, glycerol and fatty acids can be absorbed into the blood vessels. The large molecules such as proteins, polypeptide, carbohydrate, maltose and fats cannot enter the bloodstream as they are too big to be absorbed and so all this big nutrient molecules will be passed on to the large intestine to be disposed off through the anus in the form of faeces. The walls of the small intestine are filled villi which provide a large surface area for the absorption of nutrients to be faster.
Yes. The small intestine, actually, is not really all that small. It, in fact, is the longest section of the digestive tract and can be more than 20 feet long. The small intestine meets the colon, or large intestine, at a place called the iliocecal valve.
The colon consists of the cecum, the ascending colon, the transverse colon, the descending colon, the sigmoid colon, and then... drum roll please!!! the rectum. That is the part of the colon that is vertical, from the Latin word for vertical: rectus. After that, the next section is the anal canal. And beyond that: the last part is where only undigested plant fiber, byproducts of red blood cell destruction, and decayed bacteria ever see. And that is the anus.
the small intestine leads to and ends at the cecum of the ascending colon or large intestine
The small intestine joins the large intestine (colon) at the cecum in the right lower abdominal cavity. Here, also, is the appendix, a blind pouch projecting from the cecum.

the large intestines lead to the rectum. the rectum is the channel to the anus where waste is removed from the body. the anus is known as the but hole.
The large intestine connects the small intestine to the rectum. While it's shorter than the small intestine, it is wider, and so it is called "large."
Food passes through your entire digestive tract before it reaches your rectum. That means that food goes into your esophagus, then your stomach, then your small intestine, and then your large intestine before it reaches your rectum.
The small intestine is usually attached to the large intestine and that is attached to the rectum. If the large intestine is so damaged or diseased that it must be completely removed, the surgeon may attach the small intestine to the rectum using sutures that eventually dissolve. The loss of the large intestine is a serious matter and may result in an iliostomy (connecting the end of the small intestine to an abdominal hole, or stoma, to which an external bag is attached) rather than to the rectum.
Pancreas is a small tube off the large intestine !!
The rectum is at the end of the large intestine.
