In the Stomach, or Intestines (Look a little deeper), there is some bacteria that helps with digestion, because they speed up the process. The Immune System recognizes this, and basically leaves them to do their job.
it kills the body immune system
It means your immune system begins to attack your body's own healthy cells and tissues, when it is only supposed to attack viruses and bacteria that might cause you harm. Check out auto immunity

Bacteria and viruses attack the body. Each type of bacteria and virus attack different areas of the body. Also, there are many different ways of gaining access to the body. They attack the body by trying to shut down a certain system, which without your immune system, would kill you. Bacteria and viruses evolve. However, viruses aren't presently categorized as living organisms.
The Immune System is the defense network of the body. The immune system works with specific receptors on specialized cells - detecting foreign bodies and signaling for the immune system to destroy them.
Bacteria deals with the entire immune system, Archae deals with a different type of body system.
1. Your immune system can recognize cells based on the proteins present on the surface of cells. Viruses, bacteria, and other foreign cells are recognized as being different from your own cells and are attacked by your immune system.
The immune system protects the body from infection by creating a barrier that prevents viruses and bacteria from entering the body. If the virus and bacteria enters the body, the immune system detects and eliminates them before they can reproduce.
all body systems are affected by bacteria.
