∙ 11y agoNo. Guernsey and Jersey are British Crown Dependencies which means that they are self-governing but the UK is responsible for their defance. They are also not part of the EU. However, the Channel Islands, of which they are both part of, have close ties with Britain and their citizens are sent to the UK if they need specialist hospital treatment.
