Back in his prime, he was between 5' 8" and 5' 9".

There's an old picture floating around of Peter playing next to 5' 9" BB King and they appear to be equal in height.

Mick Fleetwood was 6' 6", John Mcvie and Danny Kirwan were probably around 5' 10", and Jeremy Spencer was a flat 5'.

He's probably between 5' 7" and 5' 8" currently. At the roll and roll hall of fame induction, Peter was standing next to Stevie Nicks. Although Stevie is 5' 1", she usually wears long heels that push her up to around 5' 7".

No way was Peter that tall. My brother's band was opening for the Splinter group in around 2001. My brother is 5'8" and when Peter walked by us he was at least 2" shorter than my brother. Just my observation.

Fleetwood Mac was formed from former members of John Mayall & The Bluebreakers. Mick Fleetwood and Peter Green rehearsed with John McVie and recorded five songs. The fifth was an instrumental called "Fleetwood Mac" based on the rhythm section. Fleetwood and Green intended to form the band with McVie and named the band "Fleetwood Mac", but McVie opted to stay with the Bluesbreakers instead of risking it with a new unknown band. The band made its debut on August 13, 1967 at the Windsor Jazz and Blues Festival using the name Fleetwood Mac even though McVie did not play in that show. Within weeks of the Windsor show, John McVie agreed to the the bassist for the band.

Is fleetwood mac blues music?

The original lineup of Fleetwood Mac, led by Peter Green from 1967 to 1970 did play a major part in the British Blues boom, and were rightly considered a British blues band. Green's style of playing impressed BB King, and the band recorded with several blues greats at Chess in Chicago in 1969. When Peter Green left the band in 1970, followed in the next couple of years by the departures of Jeremy Spencer and Danny Kirwan, the band's link to the blues was all but gone!
