Under the right side of the dashboard, just above where your feet go, you will see a black plastic kick plate. That plate is held on with three screws - two underneath and two you have to access behind the glove box. Once that kick plate is removed the resistor you're looking for is right there. Just replaced mine today and spent the better part of an hour looking for the darned thing, that's how I know. Good luck. I replaced mine and that wasn't the issue.
