It sounds like you're thinking of Philippians 4:11 - Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content:

Note that Paul is speaking of himself, and says, "I have learned;" not "you will be." Contentment under various circumstances (especially difficult conditions) is gained through spiritual maturity. It's not something that just happens or is granted.
