I'm not sure that Camry has a separate fuse for the cigarette lighter. There is one fuse for almost all interior lights including the lighter. Any way there are two places where you can find fuses. First place to the left from the steering wheel, there is a little compartment you need to remove. Behind you will find the fuse box. The map is on the backside of the little compartment you have removed. Second place is in between the battery and the left fender. Remove the top, the map for all sensor is on inner side of the cover for the fuse box. If it has a separate fuse for the lighter, it most likely is in the second box.To be on safe side check both of them.

Did you ever find out where the cigarette lighter fuse was located on the 98 Camry? I have a 00 Camry and im looking for my cig. lighter fuse. The fuse is in a fuse box located under the drivers side of the dashboard to the left of the steering column. If the fuse is good and the cigarette lighter still does not work, the wire attaching at the cigarette lighter itself has probably burned or broken off necessitating the lighter be changed. It's a comon problem.
