i have the same question on my 2000 jxi convertible. I think it is located on the throttle body right before the intake tubeing itself. On the 2001 2.7 litre engine, the intake air temperature sensor is located in the plastic air plenum that runs from the air filter box to throttle body just right of the throttle body. It is inserted at the top of the air plenum and when pulled out of the plenum, looks like a small electronic resistor(thermistor)It changes resistance when its temperature changes. The 2000 jxi may be different since it has a different engine.
A 2002 Chrysler Sebring convertible does not have a maf sensor.
A 1996 Chrysler Sebring does not have a mass airflow sensor.
Quoting the 1999 Sebring (convertible) manual, "The intake air temperature sensor threads into the intake manifold plenum". "Removal-1. Disconnect electrical connector from sensor. 2-Remove sensor". The Convertible is a different engine from the coupe, so the answer is probably different for a hardtop. The MAP sensor and the Intake Air sensor are nearly next to each other.
It is on the throttle body, opposite of where the cables hook on.
It is on the top rear of the transmission bell housing.
It is on the top rear of the bell housing.
It is inside the same part that displays the compass direction.
1391 is for an intermittent loss of the cam sensor or crank sensor signal
It is a two wire sensor on the front, far driver side of the transmission.
The air bags might deploy for no reason in a 1997 Chrysler Sebring Convertible if their is a short in the system. It is also possible that a sensor in the bumper was broken somehow.
On the 2.5L it is on the top rear of the bell housing.
No.
