The alternator is located at the front of the engine , on the lower right side. It comes out from the bottom, remove the front cross member beneath the radiator and it comes right out.
The thermostat is located on the lower front drivers side of the engine, behind the alternator. It is best accessed from under the front of the vehicle with the alternator removed.
