Under the rear seat in the fuel tank attached to the fuel pump. I'm trying to figure out how to do it currently. I would be assuming that you disconnect the battery, remove your fuel cap to release pressure, remove rear seat bottom (lift very very firmly with a snapping motion from front bottom [middle of both seating areas] and lift up. disconnect pump elec. plug under rubber gromate. The rest I do not know. What I cant figure out is if I pry off the top tin cover? Good luck.
in the gas tank
I have a 1985 celica GT and the fuel filter is located above the oil filter on the engine block. If the ST model has a 22re engine it should be the same.
its under the heating swicth
The fuel filter is located on the drivers side under but close to the air filter and the brake master cylinder.
Twist it off and put a new one on.
Its located on the drivers side engine panel toward the bottom its very difficult to get to.
The fuel filter for 2002 and all 7th Generation Celicas(2000 thru 2005) is located inside the fuel tank
If it is an 89 st model with the 3sfe or 2.0l the fuel filter is located on the driver side just below the master cylinder.
right next to Air filter box.
should be if your in front of the vehicle, to the left hand side on the firewall area low close to trans if i can recall like the corolla.
where is the filter located.
The 1996 Toyota Celica and a 1994 Toyota Celica both run the same oil filter. The part number in a Ryco Oil filter is Z386 From 1986 the front wheel drive Celicas all used the same filter. Even the GT4 models still used a Z386
