There are two hoses that connect to the heater core, and they are located next to the brake master cylinder, on the driver side of the van.
I believe the bottom hose is the inlet and the top hose is the outlet.

The heater inlet hose is on the firewall. On the 2002 Silverado it is close to the bottom of the firewall on the passenger side.
The heater inlet hose on a 92 Geo Metro is located in the rear of the engine compartment. It runs through the firewall and connects to the heater.

The outlet from the 350 engine to feed the heater core would be the one closest to the thermostat.
Start the truck. Turn on the heater. Hold both hoses in your hands. The first one to feel warm is the inlet.
Run your vehicle with the heater on. Let it warm up. Shut it off, then open up your hood. You'll see two heater hoses running into the firewall. The hot one will be your inlet line.
