Look for a blue plastic cap on one of the lines. That's low-the other should be color-coded red.
Look on the lines near compressor. Somewhere si one with a blue cap.
Large emission vapor leak. Check the gas cap and all lines from the tank to the engine.
If you mean the AC compressor then it will be one of the components located along the routed drive belt. It will have metal cooling lines going in and out of it. The steering pump will have lines going to it also but these lines will go to a resivoir (where you would add fluid to it) and the cooling lines dont. I hope this helps you.Brad.
The low pressure port for a 2001 Durango is on the passenger side of the engine compartment. It is mounted on the ac lines, about half way between the radiator and firewall, sticking straight up.
There are ports on your ac lines (similar to tire valves) Buy a can of R-134 & plug it in to discharge. Instructions on can.
its located in between the power steering pump and alternator when in doubt follow the ac lines that run to and from it
Both of these ports are located in the lines coming from the compressor. According to Alldata.
If you have to ask this question, you may want to take it to a shop! It if fairly simple and requires the removal of the purge tank on pasenger side in engine compartment so access to the compressor is eaiser! Then just loosen the belt tensioner located near the compressor! Unbolt compressor from block and remove the cap where two lines are atteched. Make sure you add oil to the new compressor. Also replace dryer located behind headlight on same side. Reattach all and pump out the lines then refill and cool off!
pass, side on very bottem of car ,your alt will be above it ,,,follow you ac lines
I believe it's located under the rear of the car. Follow one of the air lines that feed the air bags, they will lead you to it.
Follow lines from compressor--Larger is low pressure--port may be near drier/accumulator by passenger firewall
Under the hood, they are plugged into the Intake plenum by the MAF.
