you can use following three components for cleaning the blocked drain:
baking soda - 2cup
hot water - 4 cup
white vinegar - 1 cup
1. put 1 cup baking soda in the drain, then put 2 cup hot water
2. after few minutes put remaining cup of baking soda in the drain and white vinegar after it. immediately cover the drain.
3. wait till the bubbling sound stops.
4. pour remaining 2 cup water after that.

∙ 9y agoThere are a number of chemicals that may be used but the one used most often is Caustic Soda. It can be used in strong concentrated liquid form or even stronger flake or powder. In addition concentrated bleach will work - it is very basic/alkaline anyway and the chlorine helps clear smells from the sink too. Concentrated sulfuric acid also works very well but is extremely dangerous and requires special handling and is very rarely sold to the public in most parts of the world these days. Ther are other materials that will also work (most caustic materials for instance) and this list is not exhaustive.
