Holy day of the week for islam?

For Muslims we should worship Allah(SWT) everyday. But on Friday it's special, we have Salat al Juma, that is Friday prayer.

because there is a special prayer to pray called jumm'ah.

It is Friday. This is the weekly Holiday for Muslims.

However, it should not be understood that it is a holiday for Muslims in the same sense as Saturday or Sunday holidays for Jews and Christians where it is claimed that in this holiday God took rest after the six day of universe creation. It is believed by Muslims, and according to the Koran holy book sayings, that God (Allah) do not need to rest after any act of creation. Every thing created by God is by the word 'be' then 'it is'. By this Word Adam was created and by this Word Jesus (peace upon him) was created in the womb of the Virgin Mary (Maryam).

On Friday, Muslims gather in the Mosque, or any gathering space, for the noon prayer "called Al-Gomaa prayer" and for listening to the sermon delivered by the Mosque leader, called Imam.

Muslims are allowed to work before and/or after the Friday prayer . They are allowed to do all activities as on any other normal working day.

Quran says:

يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا نُودِيَ لِلصَّلَاةِ مِن يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ فَاسْعَوْا إِلَىٰ ذِكْرِ اللَّـهِ وَذَرُوا الْبَيْعَ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ ﴿٩﴾ فَإِذَا قُضِيَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَانتَشِرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَابْتَغُوا مِن فَضْلِ اللَّـهِ وَاذْكُرُوا اللَّـهَ كَثِيرًا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ ﴿١٠﴾ وَإِذَا رَأَوْا تِجَارَةً أَوْ لَهْوًا انفَضُّوا إِلَيْهَا وَتَرَكُوكَ قَائِمًا ۚ قُلْ مَا عِندَ اللَّـهِ خَيْرٌ مِّنَ اللَّـهْوِ وَمِنَ التِّجَارَةِ ۚ وَاللَّـهُ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ ﴿١١﴾

Meaning English translation:

{O you who have believed, when [the adhan] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumu'ah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allah and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew. (9) And when the prayer has been concluded, disperse within the land and seek from the bounty of Allah, and remember Allah often that you may succeed. (10) But when they saw a transaction or a diversion, [O Muhammad], they rushed to it and left you standing. Say, "What is with Allah is better than diversion and than a transaction, and Allah is the best of providers." (11)}

They worship on every day, with Friday being the most special day of prayer in the week.

Muslims are ordered to pray five times daily, if possible in a mosque if not then at home or any place else that is dry and clean.
However Muslims are also expected to attend noon prayer and sermon on Friday at a mosque. In fact, the name of Friday in Arabic is "day of gathering".

You are confused , Sunday is not the day of worship for Jesus christ , our lord , our saviour i myself have just came to know the Sunday-worship , break it down , sun , a pagan worshiped 'idol' if you may is not the day of Jesus Christ/worship , its in the name , sun-day , Saturday morning till Saturday noon , is the day you should rest and worship christ , if one day a law is enforced for you Forcibaly to worship the roman catholic church remember what i have said in which , the roman catholics are the biggest lie ever to be concieved and that , yes , that is the devil , satans plan , to decieve the whole world to worship him, and pray to Jesus that you can be saved , if you however denie christ and worship this roman catcholic 'forced' Sunday , you will be marked with the number of the beast , and may not enter heaven, if however you stand up for the real sabbath gods-law , not mans-law and die , you will not die in vain brother , look unto the signs of the holy bible, and decide , its hard to explain but to put it short , if one day on the news you see a new law decreed , that forces everybody to worship Satan in disguise 'Wolves in sheeps clothing' on Sunday , remember what i have said and repent , save everybody you can , let them accept Jesus , read The Bible and look at the signs GOD himself said will happen , that HAVE happend , not the 2012 crap that's all another deciept, basically the last sign is that you have a choice to believe in Jesus by disobaying mans-law , and be punished for it , or disobay gods law and be punished eternally for it.

It is Friday. On Friday, the noon daily prayer is performed in a Muslim gathering where they first listen to a Friday religious speech from the Muslim leader (called Imam) then they perform the noon prayer (half length the normal day noon prayer) in straight arrays with the Imam in the front leading the prayer.
