That depends how large the piece of marble is, and how fast each is moving.

If you take a regulation Basketball and a basketball made out of marble, and throw both of them

with the same speed, the marble has more kinetic energy.

But if your throw is any good, they both follow the same arc, and they both sink, for a total

of 4 points.

If both are travelling at the same speed, certainly the Bowling ball has much more kinetic energy, as it is, simply put, heavier. otherwise, Wk = m*v2 /2

If they are both moving at the same speed, then it would be the bowling ball because of its greater mass.

The energy associated with a bowling ball knocking down bowling pins is?

The bowling ball transfers its kinetic energy (energy of movement) to the stationary bowling pins.

When does a bowling ball have energy?

After you have released it, it has kinetic energy = 1/2mv2

What must robin do to increase the kinetic energy of the bowling ball?

thow the bowling ball as hard as u can

Example of kinetic energy?

Anything that had potential energy then converted to kinetic energy. A good example would a ball. If you are playing bowling and you are swinging the ball backwards and about to through it foward, the ball has potential energy. Once you release it, and while the ball is falling it has kinetic energy. The energy of the changes from potential to kinetic energy. Hope this helps XD

Does rolling soccer ball needs more force to stop than a rolling bowling ball?

Any amount of force can stop either kind of ball. But a greater force is required to stop a bowling ball than to stop a soccer ball IN THE SAME TIME, because the bowling ball has more mass, and therefore more momentum and more kinetic energy.

Do a soccer ball have energy?

Yes. Air pressure in the ball. Kinetic energy if moving.

What kind of energy does a bowling ball have as it rolls toward the pins?

Kinetic.

What science energy do you give to a soccer ball when you kick it?

Kinetic Energy

Why will the adults bowling ball have more kinetic energy than a students?

How does a bowling ball being rolled down a bowling alley have kinetic energy?

Kinetic energy is the energy a moving body - in this case, the bowling ball - has. The ball actually has two forms of kinetic energy: rotational and translational. The rotational energy is the energy of it's spin, and the translational energy is the energy of it's motion towards the pins.

How does kenetic and potential energy affect soccer in general?

In soccer, you have a soccer ball. The ball has potential energy. When you kick the ball, the potential becomes kinetic energy and the ball moves. However, your foot has potential energy as well (all matter has potential energy because all matter has the potential to move). When you kick with your foot that potential energy becomes kinetic energy. When the soccer ball is on the ground it actually has no potential energy because potential energy is only associated with height. When the ball is kicked however the kinetic energy from the player is passed on to the ball. That kinetic energy makes the ball move. If the ball is kicked into the air then the kinetic energy is passed on and some of that kinetic energy transforms into potential energy and kinetic.

If a bowling ball and ping-pong ball are rolled down the highway at identical speed which ball has the greatest amount of kinetic energy?

The bowling ball because it has more mass
