Electricity can be produced by:
1. Generators which can be powered by:
a. Burning fossil fuels - Electricity is produced when the blades of a turbine are moved by enormous amounts of vapor.
b. Water - water dams are the most common method of producing electricity. Water dams use the river water to move turbines, helping them produce electricity.
c. Wind - wind mills or wind turbines are the examples; Electricity is produced when wind energy is converted to electrical energy.
d. Nuclear energy - splitting an atom generates large amounts of heat that turns water to steam to turn a turbine.
e. Pedaling a bicycle - attached to a generator
2. Solar Photovoltaic - solar panels will generate electricity when exposed to light
3. Piezoelectric - will generate small amounts of electricity from pressure
4. Batteries - chemical reaction produces voltage between the battery terminal
5. Friction - static electricity
6. Triboelectricity
7. Magnetohydrodynamic electricity
8. Thermoelectricity (thermocouple)
There are several ways to make electricity. One is to use electrochemical devices, and most of us do this with a battery or voltaic cell. Another is photovoltaic, like a solar cell. There is also contact electrification, like static electricity. We can also find thermoelectric sources, like dissimilar metals in a thermocouple. In piezoelectricenergy sources, a crystal is used to convert mechanical energy into electrical energy, like in a piezoelectric microphone. Certainly electromechanical devices like power generators (driven by motors, turbines or whatever) are about us everywhere.
Each type of voltage source can be investigated, and this answer is simply an overview to provide the curious reader with a place to start.
Electricity can be generated by
Chemical means (as in a battery)
Mechanically by stressing a crystal (piezoelectricity)
By rubbing dry objects together (static electricity and lightening)
By using the energy of light directly (photovoltaic - solar cells)
By moving a magnetic field though a coil of conducting wire (or a coil of conducting wire though a magnetic field) (a dynamo)
All electric currents consist of charges in motion. However, electric current is conducted differently in solids, gases, and in liquids.
well some conductors of electricity are most metals and wood could conduct electricity so you could put them together to make electricity

Electrical generators usually are used to generate electricity.
As of mid 2008, the U.S. is first for generating electricity from wind turbines, before Germany and Spain. the wind turbines get winds kinetic energy and generate it into electricity.
By generating electricity.
Solar energy can be used for generating electricity through photovoltaic (PV) panels. Another use is for heating such as with solar water heaters. These don't use electricity and rely on the UV radiation from the sun.
There are several ways to generate electricity. Solar, wind, coal, nuclear, diesel etc.
Kenya Electricity Generating Company's population is 1,600.
Central Electricity Generating Board was created in 1957.
It generates electricity and it is too dangerous. We cannot depend on nuclear power.
.
Kenya Electricity Generating Company was created on 1998-10-02.
To produce or make electricity is to generate it. Some of the common ways of generating electricity include using wind power, geothermal energy and burning fossil fuels among others.
