In the United States most native English speaking people would not recognize at least 90 percent of the languages spoken in the world because they are not exposed to those languages. Most could recognize Spanish, French and some of the European languages and Asian languages because they have heard them on television, movies, You Tube and other places or from people they live around.

In three or more sentences explain why the word bee is meaningless to a non-English speaker.?

The word "bee" holds no intrinsic meaning to a non-English speaker because it is a specific term used in the English language to refer to a particular insect. Without prior knowledge of the English language or exposure to its vocabulary, a non-English speaker would not understand the concept or referent that "bee" represents. Thus, to them, the word "bee" is arbitrary and lacks significance without the context of the English language.
