Touch screen phones are this generation and the more electronic the better.
Yeah most people love touch screen phones. But that's just an opinion. Some are the iPhone,Samsung Galaxy Tab,Kindle, and the Android. Keyboard phones are still good, but many surveys reveal that most people prefer touch screen phones.
Not necessarily. Since you are only tapping parts of the screen and you cannot feel the keys, you will have to look at the keyboard instead of what you are writing. Regular QWERTY keyboard cell phones (non-touch screen) are better for texting because you can feel the buttons and when you press them, so after a while, you can memorize the keyboard and text fast without having to look at the keyboard so you can see what you are typing.
The Kindle keyboard is better IMHO. The keyboard version has tactile buttons - instead of a touch-sensitive screen.
Yes Palm Treo 755p is a touch screen but also has navigational buttons which makes it even better.

Both of these phones at their peaks of sale were at the same price (£70) and both phones are good for people looking for reasonably priced phones that perform considerably well and are both very good value for money. Samsung Tocco Lite= touch screen phone, social networking etc. Sony Ericsson C510= bold buttons (light up), good all rounder.
