We Jehovah's Witnesses believe the bible is inspired from god from beginning to end and we adhere to the bible as the standard for all our beliefs. In the bible only two birthdays are spoken of in which both someone was killed. So why would Jehovah God have put these two birthdays in which deaths occurred in the bible if he wanted us to celebrate birthdays. People cannot have two birthdays. A birthday is the specific day that a person was born and it occurs only once a year.
Washington's birthday was moved to the third Monday in February in 1971 when Nixon was in office. Many people do call it Presidents Day and stores run Presidents' Day sales but the federal holiday is still officially named Washington's birthday. Some states that used to celebrate both Lincoln's birthday (Feb 12) and Washington's may combine the two. .

There used to be two holidays; Abraham Lincoln's birthday on February 12, and George Washington's birthday on February 22. The Uniform Monday Holiday law of 1968 omitted Lincoln's birthday and set the date of the Washington's Birthday holiday as the 3rd Monday of February. Many states formally recognize "Presidents' Day" to honor both Washington and Lincoln.
President's Day in the US is observed on the third Monday of February and combines earlier, separate, observations of the birthdays of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, both of whom were born in February. As President's Day it is supposed to honor all past US Presidents, not just those two.
February is called Presidents' Month because it includes the U.S. government holiday of Washington's Birthday, which is commonly called Presidents' Day because it never falls on Washington's birthday.(February is not the most popular month for presidential births. It has not been one of the most popular presidential birth months since 1869.)
