Now I need to find out who bought out the company. Western National Life Insurance Company was bought out by American General Life Insurance Company, which was then purchased by AIG. No it is different. It used to be Western National Life and then it was acquired by AIG. As of Sept. 1, 2009 it has gone back to using the Western National Life name. I am unsure of my investment so am going to have to research and see if I am still secure with WNL.
