There are the WAmmy's, which are a voting contest, inspired by the Grammys. Answers and contributors are nominated throughout the year in the Community and Supervisors' Forums, voting occurs in January, and the awards are announced in March. AnswerThons are one of the regular contests, held 4 times a year - Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter. A period of time, typically 48 hours, is selected and the persons that answer the most questions in that period get prizes. Some of them are specialized, such as the Holiday AnswerThon to answer questions in specific categories. The next AnswerThon is scheduled for March 29-30, 2014.
