Jennifer Cella is the studio lead vocalist for "Christmas Canon Rock" by Trans-Siberian Orchestra. However, they have two live bands and she does not always tour with them so other singers may perform the song live.
Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24 By Savatage (Trans-Siberian Orchestra) The song is often misnamed "Carol of the Bells" (due to its use of the melody) on file-sharing networks. As such, it has also been incorrectly linked to Metallica or Mannheim Steamroller (who themselves have several instrumental Christmas music hits, including its own rendition of Carol of the Bells) rather than accurately being attributed to either Savatage or the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christmas_Eve/Sarajevo_12/24
The violin carried the melody. It was like the modern guitar in a rock band.
The first violinist is called the Concertmaster or leader.
The Trombone role in the orchestra is being the bass for the band. :)
The bassoon typically sits in the second row of the woodwind section, which is behind the string section. Where the bassoons sit is ultimately a decision made by the conductor.

There are several different versions of it. Two of them are Christmas Canon by Trans Siberian Orchestra. You have to wait until about 28 seconds into it for the melody from the commercial. The other version I like is called Canon by 101 Strings from the cd, Home for Christmas. The music is by pachabell and is the cannon. It is a very common piece for orchestra's to play.
In orchestra I had the melody part in the song, which means the main part

Mermaid Melody Pure is the 2nd season of the original, Mermaid Melody.
The melody is also used for the Christmas carol "What Child Is This."
well, actually... the violin1 plays the most notes in an orchestra for they are the melody part. Well, it really depends. There is no way of telling unless you look at the sheet music. Sometimes Violin 1 has the melody, and sometimes Violin 2 has the melody, or even Viola, Cello, or Bass.
The viola is bigger than the violin, is lower in sound and is the melody of the orchestra.
Because Within the orchestra the piano usually supports the harmony, but it has another role as a solo instrument (an instrument that plays by itself), playing both melody and harmony.
