William W. Ellsworth (born November 10, 1791 in Windsor, Connecticut; died January 15, 1868 in Hartford, Connecticut) succeeded Henry W. Edwards as the fifteenth Governor of Connecticut, serving between May 2, 1838 and May 4, 1842, including the whole of 1839.
