William Carroll (born March 3, 1788 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; died March 22, 1844 in Nashville, Tennessee) succeeded Joseph McMinn as the sixth Governor of Tennessee, serving between October 1, 1821 and October 1, 1827, including the whole of 1822.
