The shaykh (hafidahullah) calls to the Qur'aan and Sunnah upon the understanding of the Salaf. However, those who do not have knowledge and seek aid from the dead do not like the fact that he says we should only seek aid from Allah (subhaanahu WA ta'aalaa).
The shaykh is not a mushrik, and the one who says this is extremely ignorant or insane.
PS: The Saudi Ulemaa have not declared Shaykh Tauseef-ur-Rehmaan a mushrik. I don't know who has said this.
