They attribute to the Catholic Church certain subterfuge and atrocities that cannot possibly be true. Some people think that this is a mean thing to do.
Dan Brown's books are controversial because they often blend facts with fiction, leading to concerns about accuracy and misrepresentation. Additionally, his works sometimes challenge religious beliefs and historical interpretations, sparking debate and criticism from various groups. Brown's storytelling style, which involves conspiracies and secrets, can also contribute to the controversy surrounding his books.
Dan Brown's works are still a fairly new as far as books go, so they are not yet available in the public domain. This means that they cannot be read for free online legally. However, they can be purchased in e-book form. See the related link and questions below.
Posting books on net is not legal so if you would like to read The Da Vinci Code, you should go to a book store and buy one for yourself.
I don't think so, but would like for it to become a movie.
No
what is that
when dan gutman was a boy... Dan Gutman lived in the Grand Canyon and he hated HOMEWORK. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ^ when he grew up he had a interest in writing. ^ so he started making books. ^ so then he thought about writing The Homework Machine. ^ because...>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>^^ so now you can buy The Homework Machine Return Of The Homework Machine. p.s. i did the arrows for fun lolz
I don't think they hate his writing so much as they hate the IDEA behind is writing. Dan Brown has made a name for himself by writing fiction (and let me emphasize that it is indeed FICTION) that average people can relate to. However, what he didn't anticipate is that there is a large group of people out there who read Dan Brown and forget to keep the part about it being fiction in mind. He ties in bits and pieces of reality so closely into the fiction that it's hard to separate the two at times. This annoys a lot of people. It's my personal belief that the majority of people who read Brown, and get angry at books like The Da'Vinci Code, aren't really angry at Dan Brown. These people simply cannot separate the fact from the fiction and get frustrated with the book, so they blame the author. Reading Dan Brown is no different than watching Sci-Fi TV shows. It's entertaining and fun to think "what if," but at the end of the day, you realize that it's just fiction and isn't real. When I hear people say that they hate Dan Brown 90% of the time I just laugh, because I find that those same people are going home and watching shows like Eureka, ER, The Office, and even reality TV. Out of one side of their mouths they complain that Dan Brown is not being "true to life" (I hear that one a lot), and yet they go home to watch mind numbing TV without realizing that it's the exact same thing, simply in a different form. My advice to anyone who doesn't understand why Dan Brown is hated so much is to simply not pay attention to the people doing the hating. Dan Browns books are a form of entertainment, just like any other fiction novel. I truly feel sorry for anyone who doesn't understand that very simple fact. B: I don't think it's the subject matter as much as his horrible writing style. Really, seventh graders could do a better job. His writing style is: action, followed by long explanation, action, long explanation and anagrams of people's names. But you know what? Whatever it is that people don't like about his subject matter or his writing, this idiot is laughing all the way to the bank!
east
The girl on the cover has brown hair so i would imagine that would be her hair color..... not blonde. It has been said in a number of the books that she has brown hair.

Elvis's Pelvis
Mama covers the books with brown paper so they look new and hands them out to her seventh grade class.
