People are Agnostic because they have no propper knowlage of god(s) and are sometimes doughtful about how the world was created? does god exist? is there a supernatural realm? and is there heaven and hell?
Agnostics are people who use reason to come to conclusions. They are agnostics because they have seen no evidence for the existence of God, nor any evidence that they feel would actually disprove his existence. When reading The Bible, they recognise it as the writing of pious men who, not being inspired by a God, were capable of error, exaggeration or even falsity.
They are Agnostic because the don't have the knowledge about god and can't decide or they have dought's about certain things. E.g
God made the earth in six days.
An atheist is someone that does not believe in a specific religion, but some of them still believe in the existence of a higher Begin. A person who we call a Agnostic is a person who does not believe in anything at all. The English term "agnostic" comes from the Greek word "agnostos," which means, "to not know." An agnostic is one who admits, "I don't know." People who call themselves Agnostic's, are the people who are not afraid to admit that they do not know for sure that there is no God. They would just rather live in the now and believe in what they experience around them.
No, she is an agnostic.
Agnostic Front was created in 1980.
There is no "the" agnostic. An agnostic is a person whom does not see enough evidence to prove or disprove God's existence, and they don't really dwell on it.
I can understand an agnostic position, but it seems to me that to be an atheist requires just as much faith as a belief in God. Agnostic is an adjective and a state of mind so it would be used to describe someone. I was going to church thinking about god then i realized that i was agnostic. Another example of using agnostic in a sentence is, "How can you use agnostic in a sentence?" Technically, you already used agnostic in a sentence. Oops, I did it too!
George Orwell was an agnostic.
Jo Frost, known as the "Supernanny," has not publicly disclosed her religious beliefs.
Of course, why not. But are you sure that you are an agnostic? For example most deeply religious observant catholics would consider themselves agnostic. Indeed, being an agnostic is an important aspect of being a devout Christian or Jew. So by stating that you are "agnostic" is not saying much.
Agnostic is the "i don't know" response to religion. They are neither theists nor atheists; they are waiting for proof for one or the either. And in the meantime they tend to feel it is arrogant to believe 100% that there either is a god or isn't a god when no one can possibly know for sure at this point in time. Many people are agnostic, some were raised that way but most came to that conclusion on their own after being raised with religion.
I disagree, being an agnostic myself. I would be interested to hear why you think that nobody can be an agnostic, since you obviously did when you posted this question.
Depends if this person doesn't accept any religion, if not then they are either atheist or agnostic. Athiest's do not accept religion and believe in other theory's but people who are agnostic are basically in-between they are not too sure.
