First, you need the Stylish extension. You can download it here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2108
After restarting Firefox, you will have a new icon on your status bar, like a document with a paintbrush diagonally on top of it.
Open Windows Live Hotmail and then right-click the Stylish icon and choose Write Style > For mail.live.com
In the window that pops up:
Description (as you like, I used this): Windows Live Hotmail horizontal white lines
