Rabbi is Hebrew for teacher, and they're also clergy people. Rabbis do many things:
1. Write Jewish books
2. Supervise kosher food preparation
3. Chaplains in the military
4. Perform Jewish life cycle events
5. Train as mohels for circumcision
6. Visit people in hospitals and prisons
7. Jewish religious counseling
