If one has a 1080p LCD screen the number of pixels the screen usually will have 1920 pixels in length and 1080 pixels in width. The 1080p means that there are 1080 lines of vertical resolution on the LCD screen.
Computer monitors are typically measured and marketed by the diagonal length of the screen. The diagonal can be calculated by using the Pythagorean theorem; that is to take square root of the combined height squared plus the width squared.
Dear Sir/Madam could you answer to my question ? how i can calculate pixels to resolution lines for examples :if i have 1024x680 this what equal in resolution TVL could you give me the calculation way . my email:telecom_cctv@yahoo.com thanks
Green lines
Green Bus Lines was created in 1925.
Green Bus Lines ended in 2006.
360p means the video screen is 360 pixels wide. If the number increases, say to 480, the height scales accordingly and you get a BETTER quality. ChaChu! The height does not scale, it only relates to resolution and clarity of the picture. The term 360p 720p 1080p refers to the number of horizontal lines of pixels. The "P" meaning progressive scan versus 1080i which is interlaced.
Vector Graphics
If your computer screen has vertical lines on it sometimes your monitor or graphics card may be dying.
General CharacteristicsIn the CRT (cathode-ray tube) of a computer or video monitor an electron beam moves back and forth across the back of the screen. Each time the beam makes a pass across the screen, it lights up phosphor dots (pixels) on the inside of the glass tube, thereby illuminating the active portions of the screen. By drawing many such lines from the top to the bottom of the screen, it creates an entire image. A color CRT uses three electron guns which activate red light-emitting, green light-emitting, and blue light-emitting phosphors.Abhishek JaiswalMCA IEM Kolkata
