It was their religious tradition and the stories "explained" things that were not understandable or beyond their comprehension. As well, there is a deep Wisdom woven into the fabric of the tales to be unraveled by those who are capable.

∙ 12y agoMyths legends and stories are mainly used to explain something. Greek myths explain the creation of earth, sickness, pain and suffering (Pandora) and why bad things happen. (The Gods punishments) When someone thought of a question that no one could plausibly answer they created legends.
