I realize that a lot of the changes on the site in recent years haven't been popular with everyone, but I think that we are making headway on restoring some of the good things that we lost, and building new things to make it better. And, as always, our community is the best part of this site. I don't think it is ruined, and as we work together, I hope we can make it better than it has ever been.

Why do children try to annoy and shock WikiAnswers?
Children try to ruin WikiAnswers' questions because they think it's funny. However, on the WikiAnswers end, it isn't so funny. They mainly think it's funny, and that they can do whatever they want to a question, essentially abusing their priviledge of using WikiAnswers.
What is the worst thing about WikiAnswers?
The worst thing (which is the only bad thing) about WikiAnswers is the vandals. The vandals only aim to ruin WikiAnswers, and is the only bad thing about WikiAnswers. Vandles i think are the best thing about wikianswers as it adds a little spice to an otherwise boring website. If the answer was rude, the answer was written by a vandal (a person whose intent is to purposefully ruin WikiAnswers), and should be removed immediately. However, if your question was gotten rid of, it was because your question was inappropriate, added no value whatsoever to WikiAnswers, didn't have enough information to answer, or included a first and/or last name of a non-celebrity.

Because WikiAnswers is a wiki, it is inevitable that not everyone will play nicely. There are vandals and spammers who troll the site in order to ruin everyone else's fun. But, for every problem there is a solution (or many) and there is a dedicated Vandal Patrol that works to rid the site of these messes. Also, the Supervisor community works hard to educate contributors about best practice on WikiAnswers.
