It is because unhealthy foods, such as burgers, biscuits, cakes, crisps, etc contain things the body really wants, in large quantaties. Mainly fats, salts and sugar. The reason we crave these so much is because in the past these ingriedeients were quite rare to find. So our body's go over board thinking that once we've eaten the burger we wont have access to another one for a few months.when in reality we can easily consume one the next day.
